We're David P Taylor Antiques, and we've been a premier antique store proudly serving historic downtown Owensboro and the surrounding communities since 1999. We carry a variety of genuine antiques, not collectibles, including regional cherry, walnut, and mahogany pre-Civil War furniture, original signed oil paintings and watercolors, many of which are by 19th-century Kentucky artists, architectural items, and various home accessories. Such a cute little place! Went there with some of my friends, and the owner was so kind and funny! He knew a lot about some of the things in there and some really cool historical facts which were very interesting. He also let me have a little book (that was $10) for free, which was so generous and unexpected (it really made my day)! Overall, a very cool place and VERY kind and welcoming people working there.
